Short Description
Scarguard Lightener (1 OZ.)
|
Detailed Information
In some cases, the pigment cells (melanocytes), which are responsible for our skin coloration, are over-active after injury. This can result in a darkened scar. Scarguard Lightener is a unique and very effective combination of traditional medical lighteners and homeopathic ingredients. Scarguard Lightener is a gel. After applying to the discolored area, it quickly penetrates leaving no residue on the surface to affect clothing.
This product can be used alone and is effective on darkened scars (brownish), age spots, freckles, under-eye circles, and essentially, any dark brownish discoloration.

Q: I just used ScarGuard lightener for the first time (i have used 3 applications) and I woke up to peachy-red patches where I used the product. There is no stinging, only redness. Is this normal? Should I apply less? thanks
Asked by: Julie - 2004-12-01
A: Rest 3~5 days or until your scare heals and apply again if it you think you need them. It is normal to have reactions but they are harmless.
|
Q: I've been using this product for less than a week and my skin is peeling only in the area where I applied scarguard. Is that normal? or should I stop till my skin gets better?
Asked by: Cris - 2004-10-29
A: It is normal. Your dead skin is coming off so that your new skin can surface with lighter tone.
|
Q: It seems as though the price of the scarguard has increased substantially. Was that just a special? Will the price be reduced again?
Thanks,
Sue
Asked by: Susan - 2004-06-07
A: Sorry but the price is final right now and most likely it will stay that way. The reason for the lowered price was we had 1/2oz. bottles but now it's doubled that to 1oz.
