Q: I wanted to know which product would lighten my skin color, I wanted to lighten my face as well as body by a few shades, are they any products that you would recommend I apply on my face as well as body? If so can you also tell me how long this process would take? Thanks

A: This product will be good for lightening the skin color of your face.
It diminishes the appearance of dark spots and uneven skin tone. This brightener will help lighten your skin but depending on your skin it can take 1 week to 8 weeks for you to notice. But you should use this consistantly with all skin care products to see better results. It promotes natural exfoliation of surface cells for increasing the brightness.

Q: my face is very pale but I have alot of freckles that I would do anything to get rid of and have pale flawless skin.. My freckles are not dark but are noticable and make my complexion look blochy. Will this product get rid of the freckles or would I have a better chance with a product with bleach?
Asked by: meghan - 2005-12-28
A: I recommend you use this product and be consistant with it. You will notice your freckles getting lighter as you use it in time. But remember that you have to be consistant and make sure you cleanse (deep cleans) well and also exfoliation is very important 2 to 3 times a week.

Q: will this cream make my skin lighter in a week, if i'm not that dark to begin with. i am of eastern european descent and not that dark, but i would like to br lighter all over my face so my foundation will look luminous and youthful. does this company make a bleaching cream, or what is the specific name of the product that will lighten my face? thanks much.
Asked by: ewa - 2005-09-21
A: This brightener will help lighten your skin but depending on your skin it can take 1 week to 8 weeks for you to notice. But you do have to be consistant with all skin care products for better results. I would also suggest you use make up base to even your skin tone before applying any make up. It can also help your make up last longer during the day. A full line of whitening products is recommended with this product for even better results.

Q: i am 26 weeks pragnent and now a days my skin is two toe like brighter on cheek and nose and the face line is dark and there are some brown spots too what would you recommend me ?
Asked by: Anonymous - 2005-03-29
A: Try using the UV White line as basic skin care from cleansing, softener, emulsion and eye serum and Whitess Intensive Skin Brighter for special care then Shiseido Bio-Performance Advanced Super Revitalizer Cream *Whitening Formula* for night cream. Here are the steps: MORNING - UV White Foam cleansing, UV White softener (I, II, or III) depending on your skin type, UV White Whitening Eye Serum, Whitess Intensive Skin Brightener, UV White Emulsion (I, II, or III), then if you have dry skin you can apply Bio-Performance Advanced Super Revitalizer Cream *Whitening Formula* in the morning. Make sure you apply sun protection before heading out or even if you are staying indoors (if you apply make up then it would be after sun protection and make up base). NIGHT - It would be the same except for the Emulsion, do not use anything that has SPF at night. And also at night deep cleansing is a must starting with Eye Make up remover, Cleansing Cream (tissue off), Cleansing Tissue, then Foam Cleansing. If you do not apply makeup then you can just do Cleansing Tissue and Foam Cleansing. Your skin care system can work better if you Exfoliate, Facial Massage, and Facial Pack once or twice a week.

A: You can use all three. It will not be too much for your skin. They are good combination for your skin needs.

Q: I love my freckles and I hate my melasma spots. I am still insterested in keeping my tan/medium tone skin complexion. Would a self-tanner work while using the Whitening system, or does this not make any sense? Could I apply sunscreen ontop of the tanner? Would this cause the Melanin to stay dark? thank you.
Asked by: Chrissy - 2005-03-11
A: Well using the Whitening System will not get in your way of your self tanner but it will lighten your freckles or any other discoloration. And you should apply the Sun protection first then the self tanner last.

Q: I am using the Hydroquinone 2% now. Can I use SHISEIDO WHITESS ESSENCE with It?
Asked by: Anonymous - 2004-10-20
Q: Can you tell me the difference between "Shiseido Whitess Intensive Skin Brightener" and the "SHISEIDO WHITESS ESSENCE EX"? Which cream is less oily?
Asked by: Mary Chaney - 2004-09-23
A: The difference between the Whitess Intensive Skin Brightener and the Whitess Essence Ex is that the Whitess Essence Ex is an upgrade version of Whitess Skin Brightener. The new one has the same formula called Arbutine as the old one but it penetrates faster and deeper into you skin cells makeing it more effective than the old Whitess Skin Brightener. As for the oily part the old one is little bit more oily than the new one.

Q: I have some melasma on my face due to hormonal imbalance from in vitro shots. I have also had one strong chemical peel. The salesperson said I should notice results on the dark spots in two weeks. Do you recommend this in place of chemical peels? I am due to have a microdermabrasion procedure and another chemical peel in the following weeks.
Asked by: Anonymous - 2004-09-17
A: It depends on how many times you've already had chemical peel. But it is best if you use Special Care creams for your skin, it's more natural and not harsh on your skin. But I would recommend you use this cream along with other whitening Basic Skincare lines. It might take a while for results but you will gain other benefits as well as natural looking skin.

Q: I already have freckles and some dark spots. So I was told to use this product to help lighten it up. By continue using this everyday does it also helps from getting it any in future or from sun damage? I already have light or white skin but I do not want it to get any darker than I already have and especially during the summer. Also, I noticed that my neck area has darker tone than my face. Should this also helps to light it up? Does the Whiteness helps prevent it or should I have to use sunblock? I know I can't use sun block any where else such as my arms etc. b/c it's gaves me bumpy rash. I have a very sensitive skin and I'm not sure if Shiseido carried any sunblock for the face for sensitive skin?
Asked by: Anonymous - 2004-08-11
A: Whitess helps lighten up but does not prevent skin from getting darker thats why sun protection is a must. As far as sunblock for your neck maybe using lower SPF would be ok for your sensitive skin.
|
Q: I am using Clarify Essence too. So do I apply Whitness b4 Clarify Essence lotion or after? Can I use Whitness alone w/out emulsion lotion?
Asked by: Anonymous - 2004-08-11
A: You should use the Bio-Performance Clarifying Essence first then the Whitess next. And yes you must apply the Emulsion/Lotion after, it might seem alot and kinda heavy but it will all absorb soon and you can help by lightly tapping into your skin.

Q: My daughter is 12 & for some reason her skin is getting too dark. What product will work best on her to lighten her skin?
Asked by: Anonymous - 2004-07-03
A: I would suggest to apply sun block for kids rather than apply this cream and have her in the shades away from the sun as much as you can. And cleansing is very important for the little ones, all the dirts during the day can add to bigger pores in the future and end up as black heads. You might not notice becaus she is young but it will add up in later years.

Q: Hi, how does this product (Shiseido - Whitess Intensive Skin Brightener) differ from Shiseido Whitess Whitess EX? I have read some positive reviews about Shiseido whitening product. I have some brownish patches on my cheeks (maybe caused by my long term taking contraceptive pills) I don't intend to brighten up my entire face, which product will you recommend to me?

Q: Does this product work in the same ways that the Shiseido UV white line does?
Asked by: Anonymous - 2004-04-18
A: This product is a special skincare line. It concentrates more on those areas that are darker. Shiseido UV White line is basic skincare and it helps lighten your skin all over but this cream is for those harder to lighten places giving more special attention.

Q: Does the Whitness Intensive Skin Brightener contain some kind of "bleach"? How does it "whiten" one's skin? Could you send me a sample, please Thank you for your time and attention. Sincerely, Eileen N. Green/28719 Winterdale Dr. Canyon Country, CA., 91387-1769
Asked by: Anonymous - 2004-03-24
A: This product does not have a bleaching system but it has a system where it slows down your production of MELANIN under your skin. If your skin produces too much MELANIN then your skin becomes darker and some places might get more darker. Melanin is produced because of the sun (uv). It helps to protect the skin but too much will darken your skin. Even though you use this product you should always use a sun block to help prevent more darkening skin. You will definitely see the result of your skin get lighter. And sorry but we are out of stock with the samples for now.
